My walmart trip 4.21.10
Walmart was having an awesome deal on patio furniture and grills (and lawn mowers but idc about those lol). If you bought a patio set or grill you get a $50 giftcard in return!
So taking advantage of this deal, we ended up going with this patio set:

And this grill, it is the same exact one at home depot, and we were going to buy it there b/c we get a military discount but went to wal-mart b/c of the gift card deal!

AND I got an umbrella similar to this one for $2.56 [stupid tax!]

So how did I make this a deal?
Well...I had $20 in giftcards to wal-mart,, so we used that off the patio set..AND recieved a $50 giftcard in return, bringing the total to $156.xx

I used the GC from the patio set towards the grill..so the grill I think came out to $152.XX [i forget the exact price] AND recieved a $50 giftcard!

I used the GC from the grill and bought the umbrella. The one I bought I was 49.97, and with tax it came out to $2.30! WOOHOO :)
Total=$425.00
-$20 GC
-$50GC
-$50GC
So total OOP = $305 for all three!
Savings= $120!

$1 printer ink refills at walgreens!!
On Thurs 4/22 take your empty printer ink cartridges to walgreens and have them refilled for $1 EACH! That's a savings of $11 per cartridge!!

It pays to email companys!
So on Friday I e-mailed Kimberly Clark [the people who manufacture HUGGIES] and told them how much i love their products! The woman emailed me back saying they will mail me some coupons!!
So today I got 3 $3/1 any huggies product/diapers! Woohoo!
AND to top it off I also got a free $5 walmart gift card in the mail! I didn't apply for it or anything just one of their promos and they sent it to me! So now total I have a free $20 giftcard [$15 for complaining to cooperate about my twilight new moon coupon, and the $5 free]
NICE.

Check your local Hollywood Video stores!
ours is going out of business. Apparently Hollywood video filed for banksruptsy. Right now all used movies/games/tv collections are either $3.99, $7.99, $20/3 [tv series] or 20% off all new movies! DH and I scored a few good deals...all in all we walked out with 6 movies, and 3 tv series for $40! As of April 15th ALL movies will be on sale [you can still rent new releases for $2.99 for 5 days]!
